Juventus have reportedly turned down an offer from Roma for Matias Soule.
The 21-year-old has been attracting a lot of transfer interest from several clubs after he impressed during his loan stint at Frosinone last season.
The Argentine featured in 36 matches in the Serie A, scoring 11 goals and creating three assists in the process.
Juventus could decide to keep him but they need to raise funds for signing Teun Koopmeiners and Soule is one of their most sought-after players this summer.
However, they have turned down Roma’s first proposal for the talented winger, per Fabrizio Romano.
It is said the Old Lady believe Leicester City can offer more money for the Argentine.
But the player himself prefers a move to Roma, where Daniele De Rossi is currently at the helm of affairs.
Soule progressed through the youth ranks of Juventus to make his first-team debut in November 2021 against Salernitana.
He went on to make 21 senior appearances for the Old Lady, but his excellent displays at Frosinone really put him on the radar of several big clubs.
West Ham United are said to have strong intentions of signing the 21-year-old, while Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have also been credited with an interest.
But the winger’s priority is to stay in Serie A and that’s why he prefers to join Roma.
